Six years ago, he was credited with pioneering a genre of YouTube videos that focus on expensive stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson was 13 years old when he started uploading videos on YouTube under the username "MrBeast6000". His initial videos included "Let's Plays" and "videos that estimate the wealth of other YouTubers." He became famous in 2017 when his "Counting To 100,000" video received tens of thousands of views in just days.
