Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub, an American comedian and actress, is also known as Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub. Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents, she began her career as a child actress shortly after immigrating to the United States. In AT&T commercials on television she played the character of Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 to 2016 and then in 2020. She was a regular host of the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). In addition, she was a regular series on Yahoo! Vayntrub has also voiced Squirrel Girl on the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after she was cast as the character in the unaired television pilot of New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish, born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. When she was two years old, she and her parents moved to the U.S. as refugees to escape antisemitism, settling in West Hollywood. At five years of age she began to appear in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was partly due to the difficulties in the family's finances. Vayntrub was a student at Beverly Hills High School briefly and then dropped out in her second year. She later obtained the GED and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication at University of California, San Diego. She learned improv comedy from the Upright Citizens Brigade.
