Jacques Bermon Webster I, born April 30, 1990, also called Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott) is a popular American artist and rapper. The stage name he uses is the fusion of the name a beloved uncle, and the initials Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott signed his debut major-label contract in 2012 with Epic Records. In April of 2013, Scott signed joint recording contracts with Epic and T.I. He signed a joint recording contract with Epic and T.I. Scott's first album, Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in the year 2013. In 2013 Scott self-released his debut full-length album, called Owl Pharaoh. He followed it up with Days Before Rodeo in 2014. The debut album of his studio, Rodeo (2015), was accompanied by the smash track "Antidote". The second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) hit number one on the Billboard 200. Scott dropped Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) with Quavo under the name of Huncho Jack. In the year 2018, Astroworld was released to high praise from critics. It was the first album to feature his Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. Scott's compilation album JackBoys was released by Cactus Jack Records in late 2019. It topped the Billboard 200. Following the debut of his hit single "Franchise" (featuring Young Thug and M.I.A.) Scott became the first artist in the Hot 100 to release three singles at the top spot in less than one year in 2020.
